Two Programming methodologies worth considering in Agile are XP and UML Modeling. Agile can either be used the Alistair Cockburn way, using Scrum methodology, or as used by Scot Ambler, who has integrated the RUP process with Agile, naming it AUP [Agile Unified Process]. After an initial estimation on the scope, PMBOK advices on estimating the duration of the scope in plan.
